My major passion in life is ice hockey and I am incredibly grateful for the luxury of being able to do what I love full-time, and for everything I get to experience through the sport.
I was born and grew up in Kusmark, a small community a little bit outside Skellefteå in northern Sweden. It was here that my ice hockey journey began and as a kid I was always playing ice hockey with my big brother and my friends.
During my time at the ice hockey college in Skellefteå, I trained hard, with laser focus. Being an ice hockey player is a demanding lifestyle, with lots of challenges and small margins of error.
Ice hockey is a team sport, not at least off the ice, and I would have been unable to make this journey of mine without all the people who have supported me along the way. So many thanks to everyone who keeps me motivated and of course an extra big thank you to my family, my wife Moa and, last but not least, my daughter Navy.
My other big hobbies and passions are cooking and fishing, as they offer me the perfect kind of recovery and relaxation!
